Seymour Chwast, one the most important graphic designers of the 20th century and co-founder of Push Pin Studios with Milton Glaser and Edward Sorel, has designed an anti-McCain/Bush t-shirt for Freshjive. Mr. Chwast first gained notoriety in the 1950s with a playful expressive approach to type and layout based on revivalism which was a radical alternative to the Swiss formalism at the time.  As well as this initial design, look out for a group of limited edition designs that Chwast will be releasing in the Freshjive line in 2009. We’ll keep you posted. Most of the profits will be directly contributed to the Barack Obama campaign.  The shirt is now available at Freshjive’s flagship Reserve
