Upper Playground have just sent out news of their new UPLB New Era 59FIFTY Caps. We’ve previously seen some of these team references on t-shirts that are available now, and were released earlier on in the year. This set of caps is very impressive, and is sure to be a hit. The caps and the existing t-shirts are available now at all UP stores, and on the Upper Playground Online Store. Sick, just sick.

We’ve all seen the Supra TUF Cruizer, and if you are loyal reader of this blog, you remember the Grape Cruizer that was posted months back. That particular colorway was White with Grape accents. We know bring you the Red TUF Cruizer, which in my opinion is my favorite color option to date. If you aren’t into the whole hi-top look, these are for you. The profile is just a great looking shoe to being with, and the Red is a nice touch. As if this weren’t reason enough to buy, the TUF line are almost indestructible.

Some of you may have seen this 5-Panel Cap from One People Project previously before, but because the release is scheduled for the end of the month, we are seeing this cap make its appearance again. Not long ago, I posted a few upcoming fitteds from Elm Company that I was really excited about. Today I bring you those caps, and the rest of the Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. I really dig Elm’s branding and logos, and these caps remain simple, but very unique at the same time. Materials ranging from chenille, corduroy, camouflage, plaid, and more were fully utilized for this drop. These materials and colorways make for very good looking hats. We don’t have a specific release date for these, so be prepared.

Are you getting bored of that tired old tradition New Era of yours? Well, Cap City have got your covered. Cap City are keeping the fire burning with a few more caps to add to their impressive lineup for Spring/Summer 2009. This time around we have the FSU Seminoles, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the LA Dodgers, and the New York Mets. The FSU Seminoles fitted cap comes in Graphite, Black, Red, and White. Next up is the Pittsburgh Penguins fitted in Gray, and Red. LA Dodgers come in next in a Process Blue, Black, and Red color option with White accents. Finally, we have the New York Mets fitted in a Duck Tan, and Wheat colorway. These are impressive, and I can’t wait to see what’s next up!

Converse have once again teamed up with N. Hoolywood. The outcome of the collaboration is N. Hoolywood’s take on the Chuck Taylor sneaker. Upon first glance, it is hard to see any big changes. The biggest change is the co-branded patch on the tongue and on the inner sole. The profile is and will always remain classic, so it makes sense the very little was changed. This shoe happens to be available in a White colorway as well. Sweet.

We’ve been slowly revealing various items from OriginalFake’s Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Here is an item that I am personally most excited about, which is OF’s Gore-Tex Paclite Jacket. The 3 colorways that the jacket will drop in are all very solid choices, and I want each one. These jackets look perfect for everyday wear, light enough to not overheat in and just thick enough to stay warm and dry. Look for these hot jackets soon.
