Nike is continually looking to up the anti, and with a library of classics the current trend is to create hybrids.  The latest to go under that Hybrid knife is the Huarache.  Once heralded as the most comfortable athletic sneaker this sock-liner based sneaker arrives in 2012 with the recent Nike FREE sole.  These 2012 Huarache FREE is the latest definition of comfort.  The jury is still out on the design, but you have to hand it to Nike when it comes to pushing the envelope.

San Francisco-based cycling brand Timbuk2 moves beyond their regular messenger bags to creates the all new Tres Bag.  This latest commuter bag is part of the Especial collection that is due to arrive this Spring and Summer 3023.  Using the company’s successful roll-top design the Tres Bag boasts Cordura ripstop nylon construction, side zip access, various compartments, and in welded sleeve that holds a laptop with screen up to 15″.  Look for this new edition of Timbuk2′s line up next month.

SUPER continues to do big things with their inventive frames as they venture into a new Visvia series.  This new series is punctuated by the use of unique prints that matches each season.  The first in the series is the Poissons Collection with the Italian eyewear manufacturer using quirky fish graphics on the inside of two different frames.  The collection includes The America and The Palona.  The America arrives with a boxy frame while the Palona as smooth rounded edges.

Moleskine has had their run of collaborations, but the latest has the notebook purveyors working with the classic building toys, LEGO.  Look for four different rules and plain sheet notebooks, each notebook will contain a printed themed flyleaf, an inner pocket, a color-coordinated bookmark and 10 adhesive labels representing LEGO bricks.  There is also a special LEGO man that accompanies each notebook.  Look for this unique project to reach stores March 1, 2012.

XLARGE is upping the collaboration game by teaming up with Yamaha to create a  limited edition TY-S model dirtbike.  This project features signature XLARGE elements throughout the high performance dirtbike.  The bike will be on display at XLARGE’s flaghip Harajuku location from February 3rd to the 17th.  Patrons of the fine establishment will have the chance to win the bike by entering in a lottery.  Be on the lookout for a series of motor sport related tees in black, yellow and white.
