The Hundreds X Reebok "Zodiac" Ventilators

The Hundreds X Reebok "Zodiac" Ventilators

Reebok has been celebrating the Ventilator runner all year long with a slew of collaborations and special releases. In comes the THE HUNDREDS X REEBOK “ZODIAC” VENTILATORS. This is the second collaboration between the two brands with the first being with the Pump ATX. The ventilator is definitely one of my favorites to be retroed from Reebok. It’s a shoe that Reebok has been working with for some time now, bringing us a number of colorways from years past. As a kid, this was one of the many kicks from the brand that I’d pick up, so it has a nostalgic feel and makes this release with our brand that much more special for me. The Hundreds chose to go with a zodiac theme on this release to reflect the true opposites attract relationship between the brand owners Ben and Bobby. Ben being a Taurus, his Zodiac sign runs along the bright side of the color spectrum while Bobby, the Aries, leaning towards the dark side.

Ben’s Taurus-themed pair has a white underbase with bright hues of blue, green, fire orange, and a hint of yellow. The forefront of the shoe is a bright white 3M reflective toebox that leads into a white mid-sole, all the while sitting atop a green/white/gum outsole.

Bobby’s Aries themed pair flirts with the darker side of things with a black underbase sitting along darker hues of red and a splash of light yellow sitting atop a white mid-sole and red outsole. The black toebox has the classic nylon surrounded by soft suede. It’s a nice touch and ode to Reebok’s traditional classic feel.

The best part of both pairs is the attention to detail: Both lace tips have the signature bomb adorned on them, and the non-traditional pull loop along the tongue arrives with a special THE HUNDREDS branding on it. And of course at the tail end of the sneaker we have the THE HUNDREDS bomb and Reebok’s classic Hexalite technology branded across the heel.
