Black Scale teams up with New York’s SSUR for a new capsule collection dubbed Everything is Purple. Using SSUR’s “The Cuts” line “COMME des FUCKDOWN” the collaboration incorporates A$AP Rocky’s hit single “Purple Swag” into the equation. Look for the heavy use of purple across the collection of tees, hoodie, and snapback baseball camp. The collection is set to drop at Black Scale stores as well as the online store.

Black Scale and SSUR are joining forces for a small collection due out for Spring and Summer 2013. The collection takes elements from SSUR’s New York roots and teams them with an West Coast aesthetic. The collection is to include an array of cut-and-sew, outerwear, tees, and hats. Street culture all stars, Futura and SSUR unveiled a noteworthy surprise at the Agenda trade show this afternoon. The two artists teamed up to put together a capsule collection consisting of tees and hats designed with Futura’s iconic script that will be available for purchase through select SSUR retailers later on this year.

Earlier this year, members of the Moscow based feminist punk-rock collective, Pussy Riot were arrested due to activities involving an illegal performance on the soleas of Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. As a tribute to the situation, Ruslan Karablin the mastermind behind SSUR who is originally from Russia designed a “Free Pussy Riot” line of shirts and snapback caps. The “Free Pussy Riot” collection will be available for purchase on September 11th through the SSUR online shop in addition to the SSUR flagship location located at 296 Elizabeth Street in New York City. A portion of the proceeds from the release will be donated to Amnesty International to help protect human rights world wide.
