“No Place Like Home GPS Shoes” by Dominic Wilcox

It’s not very often you hear about designers being inspired by characters from The Wizard of Oz, but that happens to be the case for British designer Dominic Wilcox. The designer has released a pair of leather shoe which came to life by musing over classic fairy tales and using the latest GPS technology. Upon the user uploading their ideal destination into the shoes, integrated mapping software connects with a set of LED lights within the right shoe track the distance traveled while LED lights within the left shoe lead way.
