Perhaps one of the coolest real-life videogame integrations is this 8-Bit Question Block Lamp from the Super Mario Bros. series. The lamp is an homage to the ubiquitous golden blocks scattered throughout Nintendo’s classic game, which mimics both the 8-bit graphic looks and sound effects when illuminated; tap the bottom and you’re met with actual in-game effects and sporadic “1UP” sound.
