CLSC Winter 2011

The hustle of the Los Angeles based CLSC is coming strong with the release of their new winter collection.  Adding to their already strong collection of tees and headwear is a focused collection of apparel fortified for the cold season.  Expect to see more graphic tees, athletic sweatshirts, and a variety of snapbacks and beanies.  The collection is available now at stockist stores, and online.

The Chef Raekwon x Mighty Healthy

Coming in strong for 2012 is a sick collaboration between The Chef and Mighty Healthy.  Raekwon is known for holding down Wu-Tang with his rough and tumble lyrics, and this New Year’s day he is working with Mighty Healthy to create a limited tee while releasing his highly anticipated album, Unexpected Victory.  The tee is limited to 100 pieces and each purchase will come with a hard copy of Raekwon’s new album.

Stussy x NEXUSVII

Neither Stussy nor NEXUSVII are strangers to technical jackets.  Both have a long history of outerwear that uses the latest weather sealing innovations, and this round sees the two brands sharing their experience to create the NEX-WCS LV6 GORE-TEX JKT SS.  The jacket is simple with a monotone design.  The interior has fully taped seams, and the exterior is treated with 3L Gore-Tex.  The jacket will be available at Stussy Chapter stores early 2012.

NBHD x DEHEN

Japanese brand NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD) works arduously to achieve authenticity, so when they set out to make a couple of athletic jackets they went straight to Oregon-based knitting company Dehen.  The two work two create a varsity jacket and a varsity cardigan, both of which is detailed with beautiful custom chenille patches.  Both jackets ooze the vintage theme of these varsity pieces, and are set to be available early 2012.

BAPE Leather M-65

The M-65 is a legendary jacket that has appeared in every labels line-up this past couple of seasons.  A Bathing Ape (BAPE) takes this utilitarian jacket to another level by making it out of leather.  Instead of using canvas the M-65 is dressed in premium tan colored cowhide.  The interior is dressed up in BAPE camouflage and is available at BAPE retail outlets now.

Haze x Heineken

Who knew Heineken was into street art?  Well, the universally popular beer is apparently a fan of new York graffiti artist Eric Haze.   Heineken has commissioned Haze to produce a series of limited draught glasses.  The glasses showcase Haze’s original art, entitled The Imperfect Star.  Two custom draught glasses will be included in this special package, and included with the glasses will be an original print that is hand signed and numbered by Eric Haze.
