Huf x Cliché Skateboards Fall 2011 Capsule Collection

Huf and French skateboard company Cliché are teaming up once again for a special capsule collection due out Fall 2011.  The collection consists of a t-shirt, a 5-panel cap, a maple wood skate deck and an exclusive Hufnagel Pro low top sneaker.  Besides the typical co-branding Huf and Cliché borrow something iconic from their respective city to create a logo that mashes up of the Eiffel tower and the Golden Gate bridge.

Canadian label Raised by Wolves is teaming up with Ottawa, Ontario bat maker Sam Bat on baseball-inspired collection of varsity jackets produced by Ebbets Field Flannels. The varsity jacket is made from a heavy melton wool and with quality leather sleeves.  Raised By Wolves is chain stitched across the back with the front featuring a zip/button-up closure with both a “W” pyramid logo, Sam Bat’s logo and black leather pockets.

Amazon Kindle Fire

Usurping the iPad’s throne as the leading tablet is impossible, but Amazon‘s latest Kindle Fire will probably provide some competition where Blackberry and HP failed.  The Kindle Fire is a 7 inch tablet that runs off of custom Andoid operating system, but it’s Amazon’s access to content that gives the Kindle Fire the edge.  The Kindle Fire is set to seamlessly interact with Amazon’s growing library of music, video, and apps.  The Kindle Fire is available for pre-order now, and delivery is set for November 15th.
