THE NORTH FACE (TNF) is a California brand that is better known for their technical prowess then they are for their business wear, but the Purple Label of TNF’s wing is company’s outlet to infuse technical innovations into unconventional products.  The latest is the trench coat that is treated with the industry’s popular Gore-Tex material.  The trench is made in a traditional design, but is improved with TNF’s latest water-proofing advancements.  Look for the trench to be available in charcoal gray, beige, and black.

One of the steady designs in PORTER‘s line-up is the Boston bag.  It’s been featured in a number of limited series and it is being revisited again by Essential Designs.  For this round of collaborations the two Japanese brands looks to the multi-purpose weekend bag and dresses it up  in wool instead of canvas.  There is also additional leather detailing to maintain a Naval feel.  Look for the Boston bag to be availalbe in a navy blue and a military olive.

Further previews for the Supreme and The North Face project have surfaced, hinting at waxed cotton parkas and duffle bags as two of the major components.  The first will be available in Black, Red, and Mustard, showing small branding elements and a medium sized design.  As for the parkas, they appear to be very similar to the standard North Face parkas with the addition of the Supreme tag.  Check back for an official release date.

Huf took it upon themselves to release another small batch of Halloween/Giants colors inspired snap back caps and t-shirts.  Similar to the last release, these items are donned in the Orange and Black synonymous to the Holiday and the SF baseball team.   The release took place yesterday, but there should still be a few sizes left so stop by.

TSOVET is hitting the military theme with all cylinders with the SVT-NM85 from their Series 2.  The watch has a heavy Naval influence, specifically from the fleet divers from the Baltic.  The watch is sure to attract those into dark colors with its blacked out finish, and completely black dial.  The watch is a hefty 50mm, and has a gritty and tough feel.  Look for the watch to be out, and available now through select retailers.

SSUR of New York gets into the holiday spirit with a special series of tees featuring some iconic scenes from your favorite mobster movie.  SSUR runs with a death theme and applies it to movies like Good Fellas, The Godfather, and Scarface.  By flipping classic scenes from classic mafia favorites SSUR turns out a worthy Halloween series.  The tees are out now, and produced in limited qualities.

Swagger (SWG) came strong with its latest MA-1 Flight jacket, but they are getting together with Alpha Industries yet again to develop a longer and more military inspired fishtail parka.  The jacket has a thick long body that goes a few inches beyond the waist, and comes with a fur hood.  The fishtail parka will be available in a military khaki and black.

Supra is ready for the Holiday season with a slew of new colorways for their popular models.  The popular Bandit will be released in two more colorways.  There is a very durable model that uses TUF black and red waxed canvas, and another model that is more luxurious with its use of a camel colored suede.  Both pairs are available now at Supra retailers worldwide.

Oakley worked up some exclusive Frogskin sunglasses with Sunday, a lesser known bike shop that resides in Texas.  The colors chosen for this project represent the vintage BMX bikes of the 80′s.  An extra set of arms will also come with each purchase, giving you the option of red/white or blue/white.  The sunglasses will make their debut at the shop November 7th.
