X-Large is helping Afro Samurai with a series of limited edition tees to coincide with the release of Afro Samura: Resurrection. Takashi Okazaki, the artist for Afro Samurai, is responsible for committing a few original pieces of artwork for the X-Large tees. Look for the tees to arrive December 12th at X-Large stores.

Head Porter of Japan is lending its bag making talents to Flavor for a colorful line of “Hello” tote bags. The bags are a clever take on the “Hello, My Name Is” stickers handed out at convention centers and trade-shows. The totes will be available in two sizes, and nine different colors.

fragment design and Bounty Hunter have collaborated on an unlikely project. The two streetwear giants of Japan are coming together for a black and white teddy bear. The small stuffed bears will be available at Bounty Hunter stockists in two short weeks.
The friendly crew over at In4mation hooked up with mainlanders, Vans, for another collaborative project. This time the Chukka Lows are being utilized for the project and they are equipped with a bright blue canvas and a unique gum midsole. The Chukka lows will come with two sets of laces: white ones to keep it casual, and a pair of In4mation printed ones for extra flavor. Look for the shoes to hit In4mation’s flagship stores, as well as their online outlet this December 12th.
DJ AM was a huge sneakerhead, and one of the pioneers of shoe collection. To celebrate AM’s legacy Nike is making a special DJ AM colorway of the Nike Dunk HI. DJ AM’s name and logo will grace the tongue of the red and black patent leather shoes. Another special feature is the use of 3M reflective material for the large Nike swoosh. No word on the release date of the shoes so stay tuned.
Lanvin has raised the profile of the simple sneaker from casual to luxurious. They continue their fine tradition with their latest Hi-Top which uses a bright red zig-zag pattern against the blue canvas base. There are black patent piping that accents the canvas base, and this contrast well with the white midsole and light gray outsole.
Burberry Brit is the contemporary outlet for venerable Burberry, and for this coming Spring the line will continue to use primary colors to dress up their collection. For the coming Spring look for outerwear to look slightly oversized, but with bottoms remaining slim and fitted. The collection will include knits, denim, tees, and outerwear.
