CLOT Summer Release

CLOT of Hong Kong is adding a few items into their current CLOTone line up. In this release is a packaged set of Mao and Obama tees. This set will be packed in a special cylinder and only available at CLOT’s flagship stores. Along side the limited tees is a collaborative towel set CLOT did with famed artist Delta. The towel feature a Goyard-esque pattern. There is also a polka-dot button down and a polo-shirt that is also being released for this round. Raf Simons X Asics

Another fine example of high fashion meets casual wear is the latest collaboration between Raf Simons and Asics.  Raf Simons take on running shoes first adds a neoprene sleeve, then there is the heavy tread soles, and thrown into the mix is Asics fully padded technology to ensure comfort and support.  The shoes are now available online via oki-ni.

Sixpack x Robert Crumb

The French art co-op best known as Sixpack France just released the second part to their triptych line “Fragments of Yesterday” with a small collection by Robert Crumb. Sixpack wanted to pay tribute to the American artist known for his controversy criticism of society.  Robert Crumb’s iconic comic style will be used for three tees for this collection.  More information about the mini-collections availability can be found on the Sixpack France site.

André x Leica for collete

French graffiti artist André teamed up with Leica to for a limited version of the C-Lux 3 for famed Parisian boutique, colette.  The camera is from Leica’s ultra compact line is capable of taking poster sized pictures with its 10 mega-pixel sensor, and best of all it has André’s artwork adorning the camera case.  There are only 30 made, and are available only at the collete store in Paris, or online.

G-Shock DW 9600

Summer is the season for G-Shock’s DW 9600.  There will be 4 new incarnations to the popular 9600 for August and late July.  The first being an exclusive collaboration with New York’s The Brooklyn Circus.  The retailer went with the two-tone design in black and white, and threw in an elephant logo back-light. The Brooklyn Circus will release their allocation on Friday, July 31st.

Then there are 3 colors dropping simultaneously for a “Crazy Colors” collection.  This collection will have the 9600 draped in three bold colors.

DKNY x CITYARTS

CITYarts, an organization dedicated to bringing youth and children together to create public art, is teaming up with DKNY to raise funds for their projects.  DKNY and CITYarts will have a collection of eco-friendly totes designed by CITYart students.  DKNY will also be making a Chari-Tee and taking a new approach to giving.  The process is interactive and allows the purchaser of the tee to log-on to DKNY to pick a charity of his or her choice, from there DKNY will donate a portion of proceeds to that charity. The organizations to benefit from this tee includes The Fund For Public Schools, City Harvest, CITYarts, The Doe Fund and the Urban Zen Foundation.

PF Flyers Mercer

As a poster child for casual luxury in leather footwear, the PF Flyers Mercer shot straight for the top when it used silk linings for the shoe.  The perforated leather covering is also a nice addition to the overall stunning look and it’s made in white, black, and a light grey.  You’ll have to check with your local PF retailer to see when these will arrive since there is no information on the website yet.

Hellz x Mosley Tribes

Every once in a while you got to do something special for the lady.  This collaboration between Mosley Tribes and New York City’s HELLZ narrows it down pretty well.  This pair of sunglasses made by Mosely Tripes for Hellz has a brand new silhouette, features a new wrap around, has angular shapes to mimic sportier shades, and best of all, is horn-rimmed. This collaboration with HELLZ brings about the air femininity to the line and are available in two colorways, Tortoise/Jade Green with brown gradient lenses and Black/Red with grey gradient lenses.  They will be dropping this coming November, and you can expect to pay around $250 for a pair.
