NEWEST TRAILER FOR NOLAN'S INTERSTELLAR

NEWEST TRAILER FOR NOLAN'S INTERSTELLAR

The newest trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest film Interstellar was just released and we’ve got our heads spinning over it. Matthew McConaughey plays an engineer and trained pilot who is called upon to journey through a newly discovered wormhole to hopefully save humanity while his family looks on from a dying earth. Though what Nolan, director of films like Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy, said at Comic-Con may sound a little hippy dippy, the newest trailer below provides clarity on what seems to be the film’s themes of distance and closeness – contrasting the scope of the universe and the vastness of human emotion. Michael Caine’s character recites lines from Dylan Thomas’s most famous poem which, if you never read it in high school, is basically about kicking and screaming in the face of inevitable death. We also get a glimpse of what’s on the other side of the wormhole in this trailer, and the landscape looks promising. Joining McConaughey is Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and more.

For more, visit Interstellar’s website and type in the access code 7201969 (the date Apollo 11 landed on the Moon and said what up).

Look for the film to arrive in theaters on November 6.
