IWAN EXPLAINED.
Did you guys catch any of this The Hundreds by Iwan Smit collection that premiered a couple weeks back through our Netherlands’ stockists, The Hundreds’ shops, and right here online? Internally, it was one of our favorite collaborations of the year… primarily stemming from the dynamic art proffered by a relatively unknown artist stateside. Plus, there were cartoon boobies and horned evil creatures everywhere in the illlustrations. To commemorate the release, The Hundreds and Iwan Smit partnered up for an exhibition in Rotterdam out in Holland… Here’s the footage from the party as well as an exclusive interview with Iwan himself.

JOCKING AROUND.

So we did this really awesome collaboration with Nerf, bringing back the Turbo Football we all grew up with and loved. And we figured, hey, what better way to cap off this project than to corral all of our friends in the Los Angeles and New York Streetwear communities, and have squads of grown men toss around a spongy kid’s toy for a day of flag football? The Hundreds New York‘s Turbo Football tournament was held last weekend with Thrillist coming out on top. Saturday afternoon we held The Hundreds Los Angeles‘ Turbo Football tournament here at Pan Pacific Park. Since the temperature was in the triple digits, we also decided it’d be a great idea to play on a gigantic dirt lot.
Of course in true The Hundreds fashion, we lost our own tournament (Something about an interception being the turning point? What did you say about Coop? I didn’t say that. You said that). Huf and Flight Club LA tied for first place. We grilled tacos and quesadillas for everybody. Vitamin Water provided refreshments, Nerf came through with the grand prizes. And Bonnie.
This was the first, definitely not the last. More tournaments to come for our circle of brands – my vote is for Royal Rumble wrestling.

THE HUNDREDS X PIZZANISTA :: THE PERSIAN PIZZA

The Hundreds is pleased to announce the release of the The Hundreds X Pizzanista project, which includes a limited tee shirt, pizza box, and a special edition “Persian Pizza” pizza pie, in collaboration with Downtown Los Angeles pizzeria, Pizzanista.
A party will be held in celebration of the project, and for a limited time only Pizzanista will serve the special collaborative “Persian Pizza” created by The Hundreds’ Ben Hundreds along with Salman Agah, owner of Pizzanista. The “Persian Pizza” will be served in a special edition pizza box designed by The Hundreds, sharing the same graphic as the limited “Pizzanista” tee, only available for purchase at Pizzanista’s downtown location.
The release party will take place on Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at Pizzanista, 2019 E.7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021 from 4-8pm PST and in conjunction with Tony’s Bar. Special edition tees and pizzas will be available for purchase while supplies last.

The Hundreds is pleased to announce the release of the Fall 2012 Skate lookbook, worn by the The Hundreds Skate Team and shot at Brooklyn Projects.
The team wears key pieces and skate favorites from the Fall 2012 collection, such as the Angry woven, the Love woven, the Survival Club tee, the Dodo tee, the Team Two snapback, and the There snapback.
