Russ and Josh of SSUR are here.. Last year, we started brainstorming these specialty snaps together. Ever since I saw the original “Bowery” Compton parody hat that SSUR was doing a decade back, I’ve been wishing to see Russ flip it for our neighborhood here in LA. Now’s the chance, and to celebrate our upcoming tenth anniversary are these limited Fairfax hats…
(and even more scarce Rosewood edition!) More details soon….
T-shirts are serious business. Everyday in the back of The Hundreds Homebase, our in-house print shop Mixed Media Productions is cranking:

Get to know Tide, The Hundreds Warehouse Manager. He’s his own favorite UFC fighter, and likely one of the three most-intimidating-looking dudes you’ve ever seen in your life (unless you live somewhere really scary). Enjoy!

We’re not bragging (except for maybe a little bit), but The Hundreds’ HomeBase is really coming together. It’s surreal to admire an artist from afar, and then to watch that very same person throw up a custom piece on one of our naked warehouse walls. In this case, we’re talking about Meggs, creator of the latest addition to our office art museum, which we hope one day can rival the permanent collection at the MOCA. You may remember the Aussie artist from his appearance on our blog just a few weeks ago, when we paid him a visit to chat about his latest exhibition entitled “Heavenly Creatures.” Meggs is one of the biggest talents to emerge from Australia, and we feel very privileged to unveil this massive piece he just recently completed for us. It features a giant fiery/galactic skull, which makes sense, because Bobby has a morbid fasciation with all things skeletal. If you’ve been slacking on your contemporary art history, you can check out our write-up and video on Meggs here.

Virgil, Creative Director of DONDA, founder of PYREX, #BEEN #TRILL DJ, RSVP Gallery heavyweight, need I go on?
Virgil’s exploded his Tumblr into the most exclusive, elusive, (and maybe expensive) Streetwear brand in the game, silkscreen blasting all over expired Rugby flannels and Champion sweatshirts, the aesthetic that defined his youth. Hitting strange and unorthodox placements for prints not seen since the Fiberops days, like across the front of basketball shorts… But PYREX isn’t here to stay, it’s all a lead-up to his more substantial project…
Anyways, Streetwear comes in all shapes and forms. High and low. Trickles down from the top or springs from the underground. But it all plays a part, all contributes to this subculture, all keeps it fresh and innovative. Not many individuals in Streetwear in this man’s position, with the network he has, or with his capabilities; it’ll be fun seeing where he goes next and what happens from here.
Chris aka Jillionaire is of Major Lazer, 1 of the most-talked-about performances at Coachella this past weekend. This comes side-by-side with Major Lazer’s new album release, Free the Universe. And today, Chris has got a gift for me! The Major Lazer X Kid Robot collaborative vinyl toy. Today was a good day.
Just another day at The Hundreds HomeBase. Trinidad James and DJ Genesis (former DJ for Carter) dropped by to give the ramp a test run, and to pick up some gear for their upcoming tour. Have you picked up your copy of The Hundreds Magazine yet? Because Trinidad James did.
