THE HUNDREDS SUMMER 2013.

#

Over a year ago, I — along with The Hundreds’ design team — was out in Hong Kong, researching, conceptualizing, building, and designing our Summer 2013 collection.  We had come off of compiling the Fall and Winter 2012 lines, which were apocalyptic and muted. In response, Spring and Summer 2013 were gradually vibrant in color and patterns.  Summer 2013 was to be that transition back to classic The Hundreds Streetwear, which would be reinstated for our 10-year anniversary Fall ’13 showing.  So you’ll find a little bit of both ends of the spectrum in the Summer line, greys offset with pop colors, bipolar hues clashing across blocked cuts, all amongst the backdrop of California Culture, old-fashioned workwear, and other signature The Hundreds stylings.

Introducing The Hundreds Summer ’13, available this Friday at The Hundreds’ flagship locations (THLA, THSF, THNY, and THSM) and authorized retailers, and through the Online Shop starting Monday, April 15th, 2013.  The best of both worlds.

THE HUNDREDS SPRING 2013

The Hundreds is pleased to announce the release of the The Hundreds Spring 2013 collection, available this Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at The Hundreds’ flagship locations and authorized retailers (THLA, THSF, THNY, and THSM). The collection will also be available through the Online Shop starting Monday, February 4th, 2013.

As an epilogue to our apocalypse-themed Fall and Winter 2012 ranges, this latest collection centers on the stories of rebirth and rejuvenation in a post-apocalyptic landscape.  Nothing better explains that than the new Burnt Camo pack, our unique camouflage print depicting pops of wildflower poking through the ash and soot of the forest decay.  Or the recurring trim of the full rainbow on select pieces, God’s biblical covenant after the storm had passed.  As you’ll see, the colors and material stories are starting to regain vigor, coming back to life after taking a beating the past couple seasons.  From our footwear to the outerwear, headwear to our denim and wovens, this is that new new.  This is the End of the Beginning.  This is The Hundreds Spring 2013.

There will come a time when you believe everything is finished; that will be the beginning. ”
