We were the first to show you Mangchi’s dawning, and we hooked you up with the album download. Now Dave Choe’s dream-team everything-band is starting to play live shows; their first performance earlier tonight in a random downtown LA warehouse.  Absent James Jean on keyboard – who was aptly filled in by Money Mark – superbabe Heather Leather pounded the bass, Dave drummed and backed up head vocalist Steebee Weebee.  There were so many diehard fans that showed up – across so many different scenes – that the band strung together consecutive shows all night.  Equal parts punk, rock, and melodic pop, Mangchi happened tonight.  History was made.
