Smack dab in the heart of Melrose.. The Seventh Letter does the talking.

I stopped by the AGENDA showroom to chop it up with Aaron and Tal (DCMA).

Mega (Black Scale) and Basik rolled through our headquarters all the way downtown.

Watch, Mega’s gonna start a new trend. Gun holsters are the new shemagh scarf?

Vito and I made the hour-long trek down to Irvine to work on some new fitteds at New Era. New POST and RSWD caps for next year, Adam Bomb New Eras, and a grip of other 59/50s are now on deck. Seeing Chi-kay, Scarlette, and Mario always make it worth the drive. ..as do the shrimp tacos at Baja…

So while I’m over here at the Fantasy Factory, I wanna get the scoop on Y&R aka Young and Reckless. Y&R is Drama’s upstart t-shirt brand, but it’s a little bit different from a core streetwear brand, in that the distribution is on a mass-market scale. And obviously, there’s a full-fledged television show backing it. But it’s still a dream project for Drama and his plans are to go huge with it. I don’t think he’ll have a problem,.. this is the brand that you’ll see all the kids wearing in no time at all.

Drama’s other passion lies in making music. Producing. He’s got a mixtape coming out in a bit, you can hear a snippet on the video I shot with guest spots by Bishop Lamont and Ya Boy. Check out his studio, puts the office to shame! Spaceship styles..

Outside, if you pop open the kitchen cabinet, you can look right into the recording booth. Kinda weird.

Sorta unrelated, but this was my first time playing with a Microsoft Surface.. The iPhone’s proliferation has kinda taken the wind out of the sails on this thing.. it really is just a table-sized version of one.
I likened it to our generation’s sit-down Ms. Pac Man. Apparently, these aren’t for sale yet, but’ll be 15 G’s or somethin’…

Over on the other side of downtown LA is a place you may be well familiar with, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory.

Now, I think it’s safe to say that our office can’t be beat. But if anyone’s giving us a run for our money, it’s gotta be this place. It’s like every man-boy’s dream setup. For all the fellas who never really grew up.. it’s like a Costco-sized imagination emporium.

You may have seen the Fantasy Factory on MTV, which has dedicated an entire television show around the hijinks that go down on a daily basis, as well as Dyrdek’s various startup companies. You remember this episode??

Drama and Jeremy throwin’ hoops.

Jeremy holds the fort down at Fantasy Factory. But he’s also got an impressive art collection.

Basquiat..

That’s Tracy across the hall. And his army.

Tracy works on art/design-related projects, and specifically the Wild Grinders, another facet of Dyrdek’s entrepreneurial showmanship. Toys based off iconic skateboard characters who represent different niche circles within the scene, like the hesh kid, the Wassup Rockers kid, yo’d out kid, etc.

There’s Brian. His duties are to oversee Dyrdek’s nonprofit organization, building legitimate skateparks within cities for the youth.

Believe it or not, with everything else that goes on down here, Brian says the ping-pong table swallows up the most time. I can kinda see that.

The Hundreds Magazine cover girl Olivia Munn is working on her first book, believe it or not. She asked if I’d photograph her in all these crazy getups for it. I was like “Sure lemme think about it YES.”

These are just some of the outtakes. That’d be weird if she actually chose these photos for the book. Anyways, once it gets published, I’ll show you guys the ones that made the final cut. Until then, they’re ALL MINE !! MUAAHAAHAHA

Oops, I almost forgot to mention. Olivia will personally sign your issue of The Hundreds Magazine if you send it to the following address with a self-addressed-stamped-envelope. If you want Ben and I to sign your copy, just forge it yourself. I won’t tell anybody.
