A Bathing Ape (BAPE) Shark Slip-Ons – To be honest, I’m just waiting for a rich high-schooler to be dipped in head-to-toe in BAPE’s shark motif. You see, it all started with a hoodie that made a whole lot of sense. The fleece zipped all the way up and the shark teeth and eyes lined up to mimic the predator. Later, BAPE threw the print across the crotch on a pair of sweat pants, and then later sweat shorts. Questionable, but still fashionable. Recently, the Shark motif was used across some neoprene masks, and now we have it’s final form—canvas slip-on sneakers. Kudos to BAPE for this one. Just holding down the “Shift” button to scale and resize this graphic across a litany of products.

ONLY NY Fall/Winter 2016 – ONLY NY proves that Supreme isn’t the only skate brand in town that can do dope nineties stuff with their new collection for fall and winter 2016. The New York-based brand channels the stylish charm of George Costanza with a a range of windowpane flannel shirts and assorted button-downs. Besides the eclectic blend of shirting ONLY NY will also experiment with Technical fleece for their hoodies, and employ waxed canvas on some of their outerwear. The collection is shaping up to be more mature, and strikes a nice balance between casual and street style.

Brain Dead “Drop 5” – Brain Dead is known for their eclectic taste, and their latest collection is inspired by “mondo,” a type of pseudo-documentaries that tackle taboo subjects. The collection feature graphics based off of the cinematic sub-culture with violent and creepy motifs. Along with the graphic T-shirts this new batch or releases will include canvas dad caps and an assortment of tote bags.

Palace Winter 2016 – Palace is in the big leagues now, and they have another drop due for winter 2016. The latest lookbook shows that Palace is expanding beyond just sportswear with knit sweaters, long-sleeve rugby polo-shirts, and a slew of outerwear. Among these new pieces there are still a healthy dose of sweatsuits, graphic T-shirts, and athletic fleece. The new collection is set to drop in stores October 8, and in the online shop on October 12.

Supreme x LEVI’S – A project with LEVI’S for the fall/winter season has become a tradition over at Supreme. For their latest collaboration, the two iconic brands re-work the classic Trucker jacket and 501 jeans. The denim Trucker jacket is lined with warm Sherpa fleece, and accompanied by a few pins. Both the jacket and jeans will arrive in two colorways. A black pair with some washed-out elements and a bleached indigo color with more visible distressing. The collection is pretty boring, but I’m pretty sure they will sell out. If people are buying bricks for resell, why not a Canadian Tuxedo?

Nixon x Star Wars – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is only a few months away so let the rampant licensing partnerships begin. Nixon continues their long-term union with the brand by releasing a special collection of watches with subtle hints from the Star Wars universe. Look for four collaborative releases that includes the Ranger Leather (inspired by Alliance captain Cassian Andor), the Jane Leather (inspired by new Alliance recruit Jyn Erso), the Unit in R.O. Black (inspired by the Imperial Death Trooper), and the Unit in R.O. Tan (inspired by the Imperial Scarif Trooper).

Jordan 12 Retro – You want the definition of legendary? It’s when you have sneakers inspired by those you have defeated. The latest from the Jordan brand is loosely inspired by the beating the Chicago Bulls gave to the Utah Jazz. Jordan robbed many great teams of a championship, but none more disheartening than when the defending Western Conference champions fell to the Bulls in back-to-back seasons. The Air Jordan 12 Purple Dust is a grade school release for the ladies that caps off Jordan’s last two championship rings that came courtesy of the Utah Jazz.

Herschel Supply Company Polar Fleece Caps – After cornering the market in “basic” backpacks, Herschel Supply Company is heading into the headwear game. Their latest drop focuses on the winter season and equips a range of hats with Polar Fleece. The five-panel Glendale cap is offered in four new colorways and made with soft and lightly insulated fabric with a wrinkled nylon brim underlay.
