DSPTCH x 3sixteen – After five years of making durable premium accessories, San Francisco-based DSPTCH looks to celebrate with a friend from the East. 3sixteen lends a helping hand to create a new technical daypack with a workwear identity. The collaborative backpack uses 10.10 oz waxed cotton canvas with some heavy-duty cowhide across the bottom. The zippers are black oxidized and construction is proudly done right here in the USA. Two colorways in black and olive are set to release today, with very limited numbers.

K1X x Lee – It’s hard to imagine what a basketball-inspired street brand has to do with denim, but this recent collaboration between K1X and Lee is a huge design win. Using archival Lee denim jackets, the collection takes on a punk feel with re-appropriated graphics cut-and-sewn across each piece. A little reference to the All Valley Tournament from The Karate Kid doesn’t hurt either. This unique work is led by British artist Richie Culver and achieves an artistic and stylistic appeal that is surprisingly refreshing. Look for the pieces to arrive soon exclusively at Storm Copenhagen.

adidas Skateboarding Busnentiz Boost – adidas is finding new uses for their Boost technology as they place the comfy sole on the Busenitz. The skateboarding division for adidas introduces a new version of an old favorite by using the upper of the soccer-inspired Busentiz on the running version of the Boost sole. The usually slimming silhouette of the Busenitz seems a bit contrived across the fluffy and thick Boost sole, but the amount of cushioning will definitely be unparalleled. This new Busenitz Pure Boost follows the sold-out release of the Palace adidas Originals Pro, and may hint at more hybrid skate sneakers with Boost technology in the future.

wings+horns Cabin Fleece Robe – As temperatures around the northern hemisphere drop, wings+horns is prepared with a new robe. The Cabin Fleece robe is perfect for the winter seasons with its custom three-layer Japanese fabric. The soft quilted interior is expertly constructed with flatlock stitching and available in two sizes. Look for the Cabin Fleece robe to be available at select retailers in either black or dune.

Mishka Holiday Lookbook 2015 – Mishka has been a staple of the streetwear industry for a long-minute, and while their previous antics were to shock and disgust, this latest season is a strong blend of casual looks with recognizable branding. The Mishka Bear and the the Keep Watch eyeball are back as usual, but the look is more clean and defined. Instead of glaring iconography across the wool varsity, there is sharp typography—the buffalo hooded flannels and hockey jerseys are both nice pieces to fit into a winter wardrobe. Expect to see Mishka’s latest holiday drop in stores, and online now.

Unionmade x Golden Bear – Unionmade follows up last year’s jacket with Golden Bear with an entire collection. The two brands are upping the ante to battle the cold with key winter pieces made from Melton Wool. This year sees thick 32oz Melton Wool paired with oxfordcloth lined interiors from Japan. There is also a bit of leather trim from the famed Horween tannery. The collection will kick off with a heavy peacoat, and is followed by two varsity jackets and a heavy duty shawl collared blazer. All the pieces are made in Golden Bear’s Portrero factory in San Francisco in very limited quantities.

Pink Dolphin x FILA – There weren’t too many pairs of sneakers that I had to have from FILA when I was growing. It came down to whatever Jamal Mashburn was rockin’ and The Cage. The classic bulky high-top silhouette is done right this time with Pink Dolphin at the design helm. Using a retro inspired Aruba Blue, Fiery Coral, and Electric Blue across the sole, the shoes bring a lot of heat to the seemingly subtle black uppers. This exclusive sneaker is finished off with a custom Pink Dolphin tongue tag, and will be complemented by a small collection of similarly accented apparel and accessories. Look for the sneakers to drop next Friday, November 27.

40s & Shorties Holiday Lookbook Video – The boys from 40s & Shorties jet up to Montreal for some Canadian hospitality, and to shoot their video showcasing their latest holiday collection. The star of the collection continues to be the SoCal brands playful approach to socks, but 40s & Shorties have since grown and also show off a bevy of graphic T-shirts and athletic fleece.
